  • Birding for Beginners - Brisbane

    Are you new to birding, and eager to learn more? These trips will help you take your new hobby to the next level. Including guided walks around some of your best local patches, tips to identify your regional birds by sight and sound, and an introduction to resources available to help take your birding to the next level.

Rates (2026)

Half/Full Day Tours (1-2 people)

  • Half day (4-5hrs): $400

  • Full day (8-10hrs): $600

Birding for Beginners:

  • Introduction (2-3hrs): $250

An additional $100 per person will apply for groups of 3 or more. These prices are also for sites within 1 hour of Brisbane CBD. Sites further than 1 hour will be an additional $100.

Good to know

All trips are private and fully customisable, for groups of up to five people, with pick up and drop off from your Brisbane accommodation.

Transport is via a comfortable vehicle, with plenty of space for bags, cameras, scopes etc.

All tours include:

  • Entrance to national parks

  • Use of scope and binoculars

  • Use of reference books

  • Cold drinks

  • Snacks

  • Optional pick-up and drop-off at your Brisbane accommodation

Not included:

  • Pick-up / Drop-off outside of local Brisbane area

  • Breakfast / Lunch / Hot drinks (please bring your own packed meals, or we can stop along the way)
