    If you’re planning on visiting Southeast Queensland for a few days or more, I would be more than happy to organise a full customised multi-day trip for you.     3 days, 2 nights to Lamington National Park

    If you’re hoping to see the iconic rainforest species that Brisbane has to offer, look no further than Lamington National Park. Located 2 hours south of Brisbane, this location is a must-visit for any birder making their way to Brisbane. I would recommend a minimum 2-night stay here, to really get the most out of this stunning location.

    Target species here include: Albert’s Lyrebird, Regent and Satin Bowerbird, Green Catbird, Noisy Pitta, Eastern Whipbird, Australian King-Parrot, Crimson Rosella, Eastern Yellow Robin, Australian Logrunner, Yellow-throated Scrubwren, Australian Boobook, Bassian Thrush, Wompoo Fruit-Dove, Wonga Pigeon, White-headed Pigeon, plus many more.

    7 days, 6 nights to Oakey, Girraween National Park and Lamington National Park

    This 6-night tour is for those wanting to explore beyond the Brisbane region, to pick up some special birds on the western side of the Great Dividing Range in the Toowoomba region, Southern Downs as well as the incredible rainforest species within Lamington National Park.

Rates (2026)

Please get in touch regarding prices for multi-day, overnight tours as these are dependant on accommodation and number of nights.

Generally, my day rate is $600 including transfers, but not including accommodation or meals.

Good to know

All trips are private and fully customisable, for groups of up to five people, with pick up and drop off from Brisbane airport or your accommodation.

Transport is via a comfortable vehicle, with plenty of space for bags, cameras, scopes etc.

All tours include:

  • Entrance to national parks

  • Use of scope and binoculars

  • Use of reference books

  • Cold drinks

  • Snacks

  • Optional pick-up and drop-off from your accommodation.

Not included:

  • Breakfast / Lunch / Hot drinks (please bring your own packed meals, or we can stop along the way)
